RAW SF 2011 Indie Arts Awards this Thursday-tickets on sale now!


The most epic evening of the year is coming up this Thursday, November 17, 2011 when 41 artists and 9 winners will be honored at an event to be remembered. RAW Natural Born Artists is host to San Francisco’s largest fashion, music and art events which are held monthly at RAW SF located 111 Minna. The events showcase emerging and up and coming artists within San Francisco.

RAW has showcased over 400 local San Francisco bands, fashion and accessory designers, visual and performing artists, DJ’s and models as well as over 10,000 artists nationwide in the year 2011.

RAWards is an annual indie arts award show which honors the artists who have participated throughout the RAW season which runs from February to October. All artists are eligible to compete for a title which names them the best in their industry. The areas include art, fashion, accessories, music, film, photography, performing art, hair and makeup.

Many of the prizes include the perfect way to for the winning artist to build his or her career. Prizes include gallery placement, record label placement, boutique placement, big consultations and RAW’s Golden Ticket.

This exciting event will take place this Thursday, November 17, 2011. Tickets went on sale today and are priced at $15. Guests who arrive at the door can still purchase a ticket if the event is not sold out. Door tickets will be priced at $20. Tickets can be purchased at rawartists.org 

There will be a traditional, Hollywood style red carpet with a RAW twist when you arrive. Photographers will be on hand to snap your photo, so remember to wear your red carpet best!
