San Francisco Fashion Week The Reinvention part two
San Francisco Fashion Week the Reinvention part two featured local, San Francisco Bay Area designers, Alexandria von Bromssen, Alyssa Nicole, Chan.nel Karama LTD, Kathryn McCarron and Valpixel. The two day, San Francisco Fashion Week event signaled the resurgence of the San Francisco fashion scene and fashion week. Held at the Vitaminwater Social Club in San Francisco on Pacific Avenue, San Francisco Fashion Week the Re-Invention showed Fashionistas in the bay area that there is a strong and thriving fashion scene in the city worth taking seriously.
The Vitaminwater Social Club in San Francisco held upwards of one hundred onlookers made up of San Francisco fashion insiders, press and Fashionistas. The grassroots vibe and cozy venue gave onlookers the ability to see every detail on the looks worn by models as they passed by; giving everyone a sense of the local, San Francisco fashion flavor. Designers showed variations of 1980's trends such as neon, tight mini-skirts, cropped tops, abstract patterns, color-blocking, spandex leggings, thigh-high tights, leather and lace. San Francisco Fashion Week is proving to the fashion world that freshness and style starts right here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
San Francisco Fashion Week kicked off with unique and fabulous designs as well as enthusiasm from the crowd. The dominant 1980's vibe borrowed colors and patterns from the 1950's and early 1990's making Fashionistas yearn for the days of neon lights and candy pop music. Stay tuned as I cover the designers in more detail by giving each one their own detailed article. Thank you and stay fabulous.
